Tea Party Tickets

Tickets will go live on Monday, August 15th. Please note that tickets are limited and first-come-first-serve.

Dress Code

The dress code for this tea party is any lolita fashion or EGA. Non-lolita partners are welcome to attend in general formal or academia-themed attire. Since the theme of the tea party is Dark Academia, we encourage all attendees to delve into their favorite novels to seek inspiration, especially from genres such as mystery or horror. We also welcome attendees to explore their own scholarly interests by looking towards subjects such as biology, chemistry, etc., and of course general gothic themes are always appropriate.

No costumes or cosplay, please.

Coordinate Contest

We will be hosting a coordinate contest during the tea party with prizes donated by our generous participating vendors. Winners will be determined via anonymous vote, so dress to impress your fellow academics in your most scholarly garb!

covid-19 policy

All brunch attendees must be fully vaccinated, and must provide proof of vaccination and ID at the door. We will accept physical cards and mobile app, but not photos of vaccination cards. Boosters are not required but strongly recommended. Please bring your face mask and wear it when not actively eating.

We are not allowing negative COVID-19 tests or medical or personal exemptions instead of being vaccinated.

metamorphose temps de fille fan coordinate review

We are thrilled to announce that Metamorphose temps de fille will be making an exclusive coordinate review video for Athenæum guests only! Submit any J-fashion coordinate featuring a Metamorphose main piece, and it will be reviewed by the designers for a pre-recorded video that will air during the tea party.

Please note that due to time constraints, the number of submissions we can accept is limited. The coordinate submission form link will be sent to attendees upon ticket purchase - please look for it in your confirmation email.

Submission Deadline: Saturday, September 17th (or whenever we reach the maximum number of submissions)

Theme

Halloween-themed or otherwise dark and spooky coordinates are encouraged, but not required for entry.

RULES AND GUIDELINES

All submitted coordinates must feature at least one main piece from Metamorphose temps de fille, and must be a J-fashion coordinate
All guests may only submit one coordinate
No cosplay, no replicas
Submissions will be screened, and we reserve the right to reject any entries
Any participants under the age of 18 must obtain parental permission before submitting their photos
This video will be uploaded to YouTube after the event
